This Megatron is in my opinion, better than the first movie version. He looks menacing
with light-up red eyes with voice gimmick, "I am Megatron!". He is fairly posable. Some people
complain there's no elbow joint in his right death hand but in my view, it's still a cool toy.
Megatron is about same height as leader-class Optimus. But you know what? He's waay easier
to transform than Optimus! Megatron transforms to alien tank. Because he didn't scan the
earth vehicle like Optimus. Good news to the parents huh?

Is Megatron a Mega-Toy
By D Strick "Entertainment D" (Birmingham, AL)
I'm a little late to the party on Revenge of the Fallen Megatron. He wasn't in my top list of picks but I picked him up on a whim and put him though the paces. In ROTF old Megatron is back in action thanks to a little Decepticon cannibalism at the bottom of the ocean and has been upgraded with treads.

For Kids:
Giant robot, giant gun, giant tank, lights and sounds, shooting projectile, transformer... I see no negatives here for a kid to have a blast with Megatron. Not to mention he has a sleek alien cool look to him. If your kid liked the movies at all or just likes cool toys I'd say this guy's a sure bet. His transformation is easier than it looks like it would be as well and with a little demonstration a kid should get it.

For Adults:
The improvement to the robot form here over the movie one version is on par with what was done with Optimus Prime and Starscream. He looks much sleeker, less clunky and more screen accurate than his movie one counterpart. Also, his redesign into a more tank like being as opposed to a jet like being gives him a much tougher look. I'm impressed with the detail and looks of his legs this time around. The foot treads look really cool. The more robust nature of his legs and feet allow for deep and impressive posing. His right arm is a humongous gun - seriously it's huge - while his left is a spindly little thing with long fingers. That's not to say it looks bad but it does look a little funny in comparison to his tank gun arm.

While never as much as there could be what paint is here is clean and looks good. He's molded in a light grey to approximate silver. The treads are black and there is some black paint to point out some details of his face like his tiny sharp teeth. There's a pretty good amount of detail painted into the machinery in the treads. His eyes and some areas under his chest are clear red.

The transformation (especially compared to Optimus) is almost a piece of cake. In very simplified terms it involves swinging his arms back and around (the big gun may pop off during transformation but easily pops back on), tilting his legs correctly and flattening them out into the tank treads, moving the jets to the back of the tank and clicking the gun in place then finishing off with little detail flips and clicking tabs as usual.

Tank mode looks great. It's an alien looking affair but not so crazy looking as to be unidentifiable. The layout of the treads gives it an interesting look and the jets at back make you think this is one tank that could set some land speed records. If the gun could rotate it would be the only improvement I can think of.

Action features include three sounds - A gun firing sound as you move the gun arm around or fire it from tank mode, a transformation sound during the leg part of transformation and of course, "I AM MEGATRON!" in a booming voice as you push the lever in his chest down. Pushing the lever causes the gears in his chest to move and bright red lights to flare in his chest and eyes. He has a shooting projectile and the back of the gun can swing forward and at the push of a button a sword pops out.

I have to say this is a better looking and much more fun toy than I expected. I have to be fair and say there is nothing that bothers me about this guy. Usually there's something - some aspect of the look or paint or the difficulty of transformation - that's not the case here so I have no reason not to give him five stars.

Having chosen to stay with Sam after the end of the battle for the AllSpark, BUMBLEBEE made arrangements to stay close to him at all times. It’s been a pretty good deal. He gets regular detailing, and as much high-grade fuel as he needs. Plus, he gets to spend time with Sam and Mikaela. His vocal processors still aren’t fully up to snuff, but he and his friends communicate just fine. If he ever misses the action of battle, he can always give IRONHIDE a call and go DECEPTICON hunting. Get ready to roll out with this AUTOBOT ally! This detailed BUMBLEBEE figure unleashes a launching pulse missile in robot mode and converts to a cool, Camaro concept car in vehicle mode! The battle is on and this bright yellow warrior is ready – are you?

First of all let's just clear something up about all these negative reviews: as for popping off parts, in the instructions it SAYS that parts are made to pop off during transformation so that if YOU the user was forcing it too much, it will pop off (and can be easily popped back on) instead of snapping and breaking off (like if you were to force an older gen Transformers figure). Its a feature to save kids from breaking their brand new favorite Bumblebee people. Try reading the instructions.

Admitedly, yes, several of the new movie Transformers have some of the most insane Transformations I have ever seen in a Transformer. I think its impressive and wowed me. It was a lot more like the way they move about in the films. Gone are the days of flip the calves/feet down, pop out the arms, rotate torso, flip up head DONE. And there is a very good reason for that: creating a FAR SUPERIOR robot mode. The robot modes are so impressive in these new Transformers its insane and this Bumblebee is TOTALLY my favorite. He's extremely close to be the spitting image of his on screen self. Amazing head sculpt with perfect detailing, even his chest plate folds down in the center like its supposed to on film (which its not flipped down all the way in package, just FYI). I love this figure to death. Its one of my favorite Transformers ever, and I've been messing with these things since Bumblebee was just a little Bug with articulated arms and a flip up head that couldn't turn and a hologram logo on his chest/roof. This figure is amazing. Period. The kid in me that loves robots and cars is happy in both modes. The adult in me that can respect sculpting, articulation and engineering is even more wowwed. Don't listen to these haters. If you love Transformers, want the best Bumblebee ever made, and can READ SIMPLE INSTRUCTIONS properly, then do not pass up this amazing toy!

I'm glad i finally have bumblebee, but i knew that with all his greatness, there had to be some flaws, like the head rolling around in the package when i got it, i thought uh-oh, its definitely broken, thankfully it wasn't but can still pop off from time to time and the rear windows don't stay flat when switching to vehicle mode, but thats pretty much it, the missile not working didn't bother me much because i have an imagination and i have great sound affects to contribute. awesome detail and coloring, i felt like i really owned a 2010 Camaro. love the cannon and mechalive thighs and the fact that he has such personality in the movies makes him all the more special.

When I first spied leaked photos of this figure, it was difficult to imagine they could make such a toy transform tightly into the truck that we all know. This one must be seen (or better, physically handled) to be believed! The transformation is amazing, and more intricate than anything before seen in the movie lines (and probably in any Transformers line, actually, 'cept perhaps some of the Masterpieces).

Plastics seem to be a little better than the first movie Prime, and the paints are finely done as well. Super poseable and stable. Parts are easy to pop-off, but pop back easily as well (which if you accept, puts the durability to at least 4 stars). Sounds are improved, with a line from Peter Cullen this time round. And the best thing? It's probably as movie accurate as possible, short of making a bigger toy!

Negatives? Well, the wheels are now plastic (not rubber), and have a habit of going out of line in truck mode. The fingers/thumb are no longer articulated. The head doesn't really look up (mainly side-to-side). The Transformation will test most adults, let alone children! And the way some pieces pop-off may be annoying to some buyers.

Despite the negatives, though, this is one amazing figure, and can be very highly recommended. If you only get one Revenge of the Fallen figure, then make it Leader class Optimus Prime!

I've been collecting transformers since I was a kid and if there's one thing I've ALWAYS hated about the toys up until now, it's that the product never accurately matched up with the character on the screen. Now, keep in mind that back in my day, things like what we see in CGI films like Transformers weren't at all possible...but Takara Tomy finally broke that depressing streak with THIS figure. This has got to be the most impressive example of planning upon planning for a perfected design that features an extremely complex transformation (at first)- but after the first few times you get the steps down pretty easily (only took me a few days). If you compare the 2007 model/version of this figure to the newly redesigned 09' model- you'll see a SIGNIFICANT difference in character comparison. This IS Optimus Prime, not just some inaccurate toy, it's so close to the CGI character that I don't see any mistakes in the design- if anything it's PERFECT. Every detail matches up with the CGI design so well that it's just AWSOME! The toy is durable, AND when you transform it, parts don't rub against each other and mess up the paint job- which i know some perfectionist collectors ABSOLUTELY hate. Buy this figure, because I honestly don't think you'll ever find another TF product this close to character/toy accuracy! BUT, i will say this- if you're a real collector and you want character/toy accuracy...go with the Takara Tomy version instead of the Hasbro version. The Takara Tomy version's name is RA-01 Optimus Prime and you can find him on the web in plenty of online stores. Get that version, because if you look closely you'll see that it's paintjob is actually correct while Hasbro's model has some of it's parts painted red instead of silver- don't settle for that lol. Mkay, well- happy hunting and have fun with this product!

If do you have the Optimus Prime's first movie?... You must to get inmediatly this new Prime, It looks as the real itself. It's has 2 lethal swords for to destroy every decepticon who wants to stop it. As Jetfire, you can enjoy its lights and truck sounds and hear its incredible voice!!!!

Our Optimus Prime leader come a powerfull warrior if you attach it with Jetfire Leader, Its colors are fine and you'll spend longtime before for to transform it because you must to follow every step perfectly.

Like me... But Optimus Prime and Jetfire together and you'll have a good time and to revive the best movie's scenes
